When the border guards returned to de-occupied Kherson, the city was unrecognizable. Even the air was filled with hatred for the occupiers.

In order to step on the occupiers' heels, the border guards began to actively move in small groups to the left bank of the Kherson region. After all, the key task remained to put pressure on the enemy with all possible forces. The defenders of the South held the line and repelled the endless assaults of the Russian occupiers in the area of Antonivskyi Bridge. Under constant aerial reconnaissance surveillance and artillery support, the soldiers, including a border guard with the pseudonym Neptune, cleared the occupiers' positions.
